“Artificial Intelligence meets Biology“ — November 14-15, 2024 (Collaborative Health Education Building, C170 and C140/150).
ICG hosted a 1.5-day workshop on the use of AI in genomics research (flyer attached). The event was free and open to all Dalhousie trainees and faculty, and culminated with a public debate on the impacts of AI in academia, science, and education. The moderator was a former CGEB/ICGer Christian Blouin; debaters were Dr. Kerriane Ryan (Integrated Science Program) and Dr. Finlay Maquire (Computer Science and Community Health & Epidemiology).
